Is anyone else feeling particularly motivated lately? Something clicked for me on January 2nd, and ever since I’m all YEAH! HEALTH GOALS! LET’S DO THIS!
Since I’m still recovering from a pulled muscle in my ribs (read: comeback is always stronger), I’m not ready to resume a workout schedule yet. BUT! I’ve started meal planning again. So while my muscles remain on vacation, at least my diet is on point…ish.
Even though I’m waiting a bit longer to workout again, I’m looking forward to challenging myself with regular exercise again. Something I plan to incorporate? Month-long challenges!
I’ve shared several workout challenges in the past, and they always seem to be a big hit. There’s just something about mini programs that feel way more doable, which does wonders for workout motivation. I mean…there’s a reason I’ve created six different ones over the past few years.
Since it’s only January 5th, I thought it was the perfect time to do a roundup of all these challenges so you can start planning for the next 12 months. You could easily do one every other month (if not every month), helping you get fit…one day at a time.
From challenges focusing on specific exercises (i.e., planks, pushups, and squats) to general areas of the body (i.e., core, booty, and full body)—I hope you find one or two that strike your fancy! I’m planning to start #2 in February (assuming my pulled muscle is mostly/fully healed). So here’s a look at the workout challenges I’ve shared in the past.
1. The 30/30 Pushup Challenge:
2. 31-Day Core Workout Challenge:
3. 30-Day Booty Challenge:
4. 30-Day Plank Challenge:
5. 30-Day Squats Challenge:
6. Full Body Workout Challenge:
Do you have any health-related goals for 2018?
What’s one area of fitness you want to work on?

good list of workout challenges. Cool idea of doing a different one each month, probably easier to stay on track.
