Nothing but Halloween-related favorites today. Keep scrolling for all the festive fun!
Movie Hocus Pocus. It’s a classic that never gets old—at least for me.
Pumpkin Carving Idea Fanged Pumpkins. I don’t know about you, but I find carving teeth into a pumpkin quite difficult. Adding fangs is pretty cute and would be a teeth-carving loophole.
Candy Candy corn. I’ve always felt meh about candy corn, but for some reason this year I’m obsessed. I gave in and bought some last week. Let’s just say they didn’t last very long.
Video YouTube Challenge – I told my kids I ate all their Halloween candy. It’s just so wonderful every time I watch it.
Blog Post Fitnessista Reader’s Request Healthy Halloween. In this post the author Gina links to a lot of her own Halloween-related recipes and even has a workout for if you’re at home and handing candy out. The post is great if you’re anything like me and tend to eat way too much candy. Plus, themed workouts are always fun.
Song Thriller by Michael Jackson. Is there really any other Halloween song worth mentioning? No, really. I’m curious. Funny story though. My sister, bro-in-law, some groomsmen, and I all learned the thriller dance for their wedding reception. It was a lot more work than I thought, and it was so much fun.
Candy Yorkshire Peppermint Patty. I realize I already declared a favorite candy, but I love candy and want to profess my love for more than one. Candy corn is amazing, but I’m obsessed with these babies. They don’t seem like a Halloween candy to me, but I feel like Halloween doesn’t discriminate on types of candy so I’m not either in this post. Chocolate + mint = win.
Website Coolest Homemade Costumes. According to the Pinterest caption, this is the Pinterest of costumes. It has lots of costume ideas, and seeing as how I have such issues with figuring out my costume every year, I’ll definitely be looking through it next year. Or perhaps I should start planning right now. I need all the time I can get.
What’s your all-time favorite part of Halloween?
Dressing up will never get old to me. This year I was Ariel, and I’m already thinking about next year. I’ll probably be an embarrassing parent one day that just can’t let go of the fun and keep dressing up.
Favorite candy?
At this exact moment in time (since it always changes), I rank my favorites as 1: Peppermint Patty, 2: Candy Corn, and 3: Kit Kats. Uhoh, I sense my sweet tooth aching for some sugar.
