Good morning and happy NEW YEAR’S EVE!!
This is one of my favorite days of the whole year. I mean, New Year’s Day is fine and all, but the last day of the year is something to celebrate about. Whether you’re cheersing to the END of a rough year or poppin’ bottles to what lies ahead, the transition from one year to the next is an exciting event!
As I mentioned earlier this month in my Road Trip Essentials post, Matt and I have transitioned from our life in San Diego to our next chapter in Chicago. Although we’ll always feel drawn to Southern California, I think it’s safe to say we’re both stoked about what this new city has in store for us.
To end 2018 on a high note, I wanted to post a quote that’s the epitome of optimism and hope to me.
“Always believe something wonderful is about to happen.” Every time I stumble upon this saying, I’m filled with this curious excitement. We never know what will happen next, so we might as well put our hands up and embrace the thrilling ride we’re on—and trust it’ll be a good one.
