Of all the workout music playlists I have ever shared, there is one artist I haven’t highlighted nearly enough: Britney Spears. Back in my running days, I had a Madonna-Britney hybrid playlist that I’d listen to a lot, and since that was lost with an old iPod that died, I recently created a new playlist that’s pure Britney. And it’s pure-fection.
At this point, I’ve only shared one other playlist that’s made up of a single artist—my Justin Timberlake Workout Playlist—so I’m continuing with that system today.
Britney Spears is just one of those artists who’s easy to workout to, because so much of her music is really upbeat and fun with a touch of sass. As a result, this playlist was pretty quick to make, though I had to weed out some randos that were not adding to my workout vibe.
I tried to include songs from all over her collection—yes, even from Baby One More Time. But there are definitely a few albums that I favored because they’re just perfect (i.e., Circus and Femme Fatale).
