Four weeks in a row!? Is this real life!?
I’m breaking Gettin’ My Healthy On records over here by posting my fourth recipe in four weeks. Along with the Cranberry Chia Smoothie, Creamy Sweet Potato and Carrot Soup, and Popcorn in Coconut Oil, the following recipe was created during my 3-week detox. Since I couldn’t have sugar throughout the first couple weeks, this recipe was especially tasty because it’s purely sweet, frozen fruit. Yummm.
Blueberry Banana Ice Cream is a 3-ingredient dessert that is super simple and surprisingly tasty for just being blueberries, bananas, and almond milk.
Ingredients:
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 c frozen blueberries
- 2 Tbs Almond milk (may need more to get frozen fruit moving)
Instructions:
- Throw it all in a food processor, and blend until at thoroughly incorporated.
For some reason, I feel like white chocolate chips would be a good addition to this. Maybe it’s just because I know they’d look pretty? It’s possible that I’ll try it the next time I make this. It’s just an idea if, ya know, you want to make a super healthy recipe less healthy.
Make sure to check out my other banana ice cream recipes too!
P.S. Stay tuned for a giveaway in tomorrow’s post!!
