A Few of My Favorite Things

May 8, 2013 by Katie

Workout

After work I plan to do the following: Spelling Abs Circuit, Shredded Shoulders workout, and Lean Legs Circuit (because I didn’t have time to do it Monday).

I feel so girly today. It’s a nice change of pace from my usual manly self (but not really…okay ish)

Last night I painted my nails, which is a very rare occurrence. Surprisingly, they aren’t screwed up yet. I’m sure they’ll be a colorful mess by the end of the day though. Nice things tend to get ruined around me–painted nails included.

To continue with my randomness, here are some of my favorites from the past week:

These Are a Few of My Favorite Things

Zipzicles – They’re homemade popsicles. If I had these bags and was motivated to fill the them, I’d probably eat like 10 of these a day.

Small Changes – It’s hard to remember this sometimes with diet/exercise because we want instant results, but gradually if you make those little changes, you’ll see progress!

Nordic Ware Egg Cooker – I got this a few weeks ago at the grocery store, and it was totally worth $4. You throw in a cracked egg or two, add whatever other ingredients (I like mushrooms and spinach), and then microwave it for around a minute. Voila! You have a perfect patty of egg to throw on a sandwich. Mmmmm.

Correct Their Grammar – Yep, that’s how I roll. I try not to be an a-hole, but people with poor grammar make me sad. I mainly just correct Matt or my siblings because I don’t care if they temporarily hate me.

Green Tea Lime Cooler – I’ve seen this before but have never considered actually doing it until now. It’s so simple, only needing a green tea bag, lime juice, and agave nectar, but it intrigues me.

Yessssss please buy them. And then give me them! And I have a lot of Twitter followers because I actively follow people on a daily basis. As a result, it’s built up! Woo! My Facebook count is a bit sad in comparison.
