‘Tis a beautiful fall day here in Illinois! I’m enjoying a lazy morning and doing some freelance writing. Eventually, I’m going to go on a 12-mile run. It’s pretty chilly out right now so I’ll probably wait for the afternoon. Wish me luck!
Check out my latest favorites below!
Blast from the Past Wish Upon a Star. Thank you, Netflix, for reminding me how wonderful some old Disney movies are.
Quote Behind-the-scenes with highlight reel. This reminds me of how Facebook used to make me feel (before I found Pinterest to waste time on instead). People post pictures and statuses of them doing fun things, and we tend to assume that’s how their whole life is. When our lives feel uneventful, it can make us feel insecure.
Movie I Want to See Perks of Being a Wallflower. This movie looks so wonderful. It’s not just my love for Emma Watson either. Apparently it’s supposed to be the new Breakfast Club. Whatever it is, I hope to see it someday.
Song It’s Time by Imagine Dragons. This seems to the theme song for the new movie The Perks of Being a Wallflower, and I absolutely love it. Not to mentioned I really want to see the movie.
Treat One-Minute Ice Cream. Sounds so simple and looks so delicious.
DIY Project Magnetic Scrabble Board. I love having ongoing games of Words with Friends, and I feel this would be similar. Plus, it looks classy in a frame!
Sad Truth Measuring pasta. I can seriously never get it right.
Do you have any old favorite Disney channel movies?
What’s a movie you’re dying to see?
Any tips on how to measure pasta?

You could be readying yourself for a run up in Vilas County where the wind chill is 22 right now!? Glad you have the motivation required for any running, though.
Disney movie: Beauty and the Beast, Herbie the Love Bug movies (such classics!)
Could you work on a roasted brusselsprout and a roasted beet recipe for me? (2 separate – not together!)
K, thanks!

To the run up north, noooo way! And I would absolutely love to find some recipes for you! Since I fail at coming up with my own recipes most of the time, I’ll try to find some goodness from the wonderful world wide web and get back to you.

I remember video taping “Wish Upon a Star” and watching it over and over again! That movie was the best!
