So who watched the Super Bowl on Sunday? And who cared about the outcome?
Ya, I didn’t really care who won, but I kind of watched the game with Matt anyways. Per usual, I mostly paid attention to the half time performance (HELLOOOOO Missy Elliott), the commercials, and then Matt loves the Puppy Bowl.
Since there are always a bunch of fun ads every year (such an oxymoron), I figured I’d focus today’s favorites on those. I started with my favorite and added some others that stuck out to me.

These Are a Few of My Favorite Things
Always: Like a Girl – Love love love this one. I’m sad to admit that if I was asked to “run like a girl”, I’d probably think to fake the stereotype as well. Seeing the kids act tough and dedicated just goes to show how stereotypes are learned and don’t have to be true.
Dove Men Care – So this commercial definitely made me cry. I have such a soft spot in my heart for dads that this commercial made me emotional. Oy vey.
Clash of Clans: Revenge – Because Liam Neesen is amusing. It’s [lee-um].
Snickers: The Brady Bunch – Danny Trejo as Marcia in The Brady Bunch = win.
BMW i3: Newfangled Idea – I just found the beginning of this commercial funny. “What exactly is Internet?”
And then there was that Nationwide commercial where a child died making it the most depressing ad I have ever seen, so that will definitely not be a favorite. Whyyyyy.
I didn’t really like the sad commercials but also loved the BMW commercial and the Fiat was hilarious!
Those were good ones too! I almost put the Fiat one on this list.
