A Little of This and That

September 23, 2013 by Katie

First of all…

1st day of fall

I finally made a few purchases to make this place feel fall-y, despite the lack of leaf color changing outside.

Fall decor

Never thought I’d be a potpourri type of person, but I love scented pine cones.

In addition to fall being the second best season (spring is where the money’s at), I finally tapped into my crafty side and made some hemp magic happen. I loved the hemp and pearl bracelet that I found on Pinterest awhile ago, and I finally decided to make a replicate because I couldn’t find jewelry I wanted to wear to a house-warming party Saturday night. I’m satisfied with it. It’s a little different than the original, but I was winging it…and I meant to make it different…sure.

I also decided to cover a wine bottle in thicker hemp for some reason. I’ve also seen this on the Pinterest and thought it looked cool. I feel like I need to do a few different cool-looking bottles or something so it’s not so awkward. Honestly, I’m not exactly sure what I’m going to do with this, but…it’s there.

Another new and exciting thing in this household is some Zico chocolate coconut water. I’ve seen people drinking it before and thought it sounded bizarre, but I’ve been intrigued. I posted a Cocozia coconut water review recently and mentioned how coconut water isn’t ma fave. Still, I needed to try this chocolate dealio. Because chocolate makes everything better.

Zico Chocolate Coconut Water

The verdict? I think I like it, but I’m not quite sure? It’s confusing. Because I know there’s coconut water hiding underneath the chocolate. It reminds me of watery chocolate milk. So, all in all, it’s not too shabby.

Okay, that’s enough randomness for today. Hope you all had a great weekend and have a swell Monday!

That choco Coconut water reminds me of Yahoo. I’ve never actually HAD Yahoo. BUT, from what people say it’s like watery milk.

Hmm interesting comparison. I’ve never had a Yahoo either, but I’ve always wanted to.
