A Few of My Favorite Things

November 28, 2012 by Katie

Hello! Happy hump day! How’s your week going so far? It’s hard to believe Saturday is the first day of December. Eeee! I’m looking forward to it. One reason is the fact that December means February is only 2 months away, which means the excitement is closer! If you haven’t already, you should check out my weekend recap + exciting news!

Workout

Yesterday, I did a slow 4-mile run plus my 10-Min Arms and Core Workout. ‘Twas nice. Running slow is a good time.

Today, I’m heading out for a 12-miler around noon when it’s a bit warmer. I hate waiting to workout, but it’s definitely worth the warmer weather.

Now, let’s get down to business to defeat the Huns.

Video 500 Days of Summer – You Make My Dreams Come True. I absolutely love this scene in the movie. Even if you haven’t seen the movie, it’s still pretty awesome to watch. I mean, why can’t everyday start like this? This scene is the reason why I had the song on my workout playlist for such a long time. I just think of this movie, and it makes me feel good.

Tip Hot panini without the mess. I found this to be a wonderful idea. You wrap your sandwich in parchment paper, and it keeps all the juices and cheese and such under wrap. Get it?!

Song All I’ve Ever Needed by Paul McDonald and Nikki Reed. This song just feels right. I think the chorus is beautiful. The girl is actually from Twilight, if you were wondering, and the guy was on American Idol apparently.

Home Idea Coffee Bar. I think this is super cute and would love to have one in my future house! Sometimes I love the idea of coffee more than the actual drink. This would bring a bit of the café culture into the home 🙂

Advice Don’t be a cotton headed ninny muggins. Solid advice, if you ask me.

SAME!! I’ve been upping my mileage for awhile, so I figured I might as well sign up for one while I’m motivated. I’m super nervous though. You should totally do it! I never realized how attainable of a goal it was until recently. It’s amazing how much we’re capable of without even realizing it.
