A Few of My Favorite Things

November 13, 2013 by Katie

BREAKING NEWS:

It’s not Tuesday anymore!!! As I’ve mentioned before, Tuesdays make me sad, and the article “It’s Only Tuesday” from The Onion describes my feelings exactly if you feel like reading it.

Another thing that makes me sad? The getting dark before 5pm thing. It feels so much later than it actually is. Fitting in a run is one issue, but working out at all after work has become quite difficult…mentally. My day feels over way earlier. No bueno.

Okay, enough sadness. Keep reading to check out my favorite finds from the past week.

These Are a Few of My Favorite Things

Weird Reality: $10  vs. $40. Funny how that works…

Fitness Quote: Bad days. For reals, guys. When you’re angry and so over the day, it’s nice to just bust out a workout and get in the zone.

Dreamland: Puppy Room. Um, where do I sign up?

Addition to the Workplace: #Jesus. We have a water cooler at work, and I’m thinking we should swap the water with some wine. I have two people on board so far, and I’m sure it won’t be hard to get more.

Style: Black and pink. I would love to dress like this everyday—it looks so chic to me. Pretty sure I’d feel like a princess with a tutu-like skirt.

Indulgence: Frozen hot chocolate. Okay, what is this frozen hot chocolate business? I’ve heard about it many times, but it just sounds like a chocolate milkshake to me. Word on the street is they’re delicious. I’m thinking I’ll need to further research this idea…

Veggie: Edamame. It’s my new favorite vegetable. I highly recommend buying a steamer bag or whatever your heart desires, throwing some sea salt or another seasoning on them, and devouring the soy beans. They seem like junk food to me because they’re a finger food (let’s face…anything is finger food if you put your mind to it), are “da bomb” when seasoned, and are easy to gorge yourself on…but without the guilt. Good stuff.

Edamame

The end!

Hope everyone has a great Wednesday Smile
