It’s the 12th and final week of my journey following the LiveFit Trainer bodybuilding program! I’m excited it’s nearing its end, but I’m also planning to start some sort of new workout program after this. Not sure what that’ll be yet, but I like having weight-focused workouts already set-up to just power through without too much thinking.
In these last couple weeks of LiveFit, there has been cardio on the schedule for almost every day—which I most definitely have not been following. However, I try to do a couple days of cardio per week; I just much prefer it either being incorporated into a weight lifting workout or completely separated onto a different day.
Last week there was a full day dedicated to an hour of cardio. Since I can’t exactly run that far anymore due to my IT Band Syndrome, and I’ve never done a circuit workout for that long, I created a new routine to challenge me for the 60 minutes.
This workout I’m sharing today is actually very similar to a circuit I shared in the past—Pure Cardio HIIT—but there are more exercises, and you repeat the circuit more times. It actually went by surprisingly fast (this may have had something to do with having Netflix on in the background). So I highly recommend it if you want to dedicate an hour to a heart-pumping, cardio-focused circuit workout—no equipment needed!
What’s your favorite way to get in some cardio?
