Good news! I’m walking like a normal person again!
The whole working out thing still isn’t happening, though, since I’m still quite sore from the marathon on Sunday. I’m hoping to do something light in the next few days, so we’ll see how that goes.
I DO plan to attempt some foam rolling today. Let’s hope it doesn’t feel like my legs are covered in bruises still.
Monday’s post was dedicated to my marathon recap, so I didn’t really say much about the Super Bowl. I watched it (for the most part), and here are some of my favorites from it (notice that nothing relates to the actual football part of it):
Commercial #1 Taco Bell Viva Mas Commercial. I love when the elderly get all cray-cray. It’s simply awesome.
Food Recipe Slow Cooker Cocktail Smokies. My dad used to make these when we had Superbowl and New Year’s Eve parties at our house when I was younger. I don’t know the exact recipe, but from what I know, this one is pretty much it. They’re so good and are great for a party since they stay in the crockpot all day.
Commercial #2 VW Happy People. This commercial makes me smile. My favorite part: “Oh, don’t fret brotha. Stickybun come soon!”
Fun Food Football Pizza Pockets. I like getting all crafty and going overboard on food creations. I wasn’t exactly feeling up to doing much of anything Sunday night, so making these was definitely not going to happen. Perhaps next year I’ll be ridiculous and make a bunch of football-shaped foods. Because why not?
Commercial #3 Budweiser: The Clydesdale “Brotherhood” I’ll admit it. Watching this commercial gets me all emotional because it’s so sweet.
As you can tell, I just like the food and commercials that come with it being the Super Bowl. I’m not the biggest football fan. I try on occasion, but it usually doesn’t last more than 5 minutes.
What was your favorite / least favorite commercial?
I showed you my favorites. My least favorite? Probably the GoDaddy one with Bar Refaeli. It wouldn’t have been so horrible if everyone wouldn’t have played it a million times in the following couple days. I’m sorry if I don’t like seeing people eat each other’s faces. Definitely got people talking though! Well done, GoDaddy. Well done. (As I type this, it’s being played on tv. Can’t. Escape it.)
Did you party hardy with other people for the game?
Matt and I opted for chillaxing in our own home, and I went to bed at 8:30. Bahaha

Given that I didn’t watch the superbowl, the only commercials I have to watch are the ones you just posted. ANd I am DYING over the one with the old people. Hangover parody? I LOVE IT.

Haha well I’m glad you could see a few then!

Love the old people one, but the Dodge one about farmers was pretty special. I thought of Dad and the gparents.

It’s true. I almost put that on this post. I felt all emotional during that one too!
