Friday: Watched Finding Nemo. It was quite enjoyable. Interesting (but not really) fact: I saw this movie 3 times in the theatre back in the day. I must like it or something.
Saturday: Went to a local brewery and enjoyed a flight of beers and an appetizer thanks to a Living Social deal Matt bought awhile ago.
Sunday: Grocery shopping and lots of nothingness—just how I like my Sundays—lazy.
Yesterday, I went for an 8-mile run for my last “long” run before my marathon in 6 days! I had an average pace of 9:05/mile, so I can deal with that. I think I’m finally getting back to normal after being sick for awhile.
I’m anxious to go back to doing challenging leg workouts with weights, but I feel I should hold off until I’m done with my marathon. I’d rather not still be sore from a weight workout when I set out to do 26.2 miles.
It’s extra difficult to hold off, though, because I just got 2 sets of weights: 5 lbs. and 10 lbs.
Thanks to a gift card to RoadRunner from Christmas, I also have a travel size foam roller, which I will DEFINITELY be getting a lot of use of after the race on Sunday.

I don’t know what I would do without my Timex GPS watch. It makes life so much easier (and accurate) for running.

I bet I could watch the Disney princess movies over and over. I’m a girl. We tend to like that crap.
